Big Paddy Doherty(Butters) was reared in Tirhoran, His father got the name '' Wee Paddy'', he had several brothers, namely Big Jimmey ( The Latin Teacher), William, who left for America at a young age, and Big Denny, ( Danial Doherty, Who was some description of a County Counciller, my Great Grandfather), He also had a sister Rose in America, and also one married in Annagh, After spending more than 30 years working in Cuba he moved back home where he built a house in Tirhoran. | |||
