The man behind the venture is
local man Mr. Martin Doherty from Clougherna. Martin had the foresight
to see a dramatic upsurge in interest in golf in this part of the country.
In the last few years. The number of people in this area now playing
golf has increased ten fold, added to that the tourist trade in the
area should mean that Martin has backed a winner.
The Course can be found by taking the shore road past the Strand Hotel where it is situated on the right, halfway to the beach. There will be a welcome there for everyone, beginners and experienced alike. Clonmany Festival would like to
