Placenames Altahalla is situated between Clonmany and Rooskey River along the west of the main road between Buncrana and Clonmany. It is diamond in shape and is one quarter arable and the rest is rough hill grazing. The centre is composed of a 400' shoulder of Bulbin mountain. Altahall hill is 517'.
