Placenames Annaugh is situated along the main road from Buncrana to Ballyliffin through centre. It crosses the valley between Binion mountain and Crockaughrim. The narrow north end touches the sea - cliffs up to 300' high. The land is one third arable and the rest is rough mountain grazing. It is divided into three villages or parts - Annaugh Lower, Annaugh Upper and Magheracarra. Anagh - Eanach - Marsh / Cut out bog
