Crossconnell
Crossconnell is a small wedged
shaped townland located on the main road between Clonmany and Urris.
The road to Tullagh branches of here. The sea level is 500' and the
Clonmany river enters the sea here. Half of the land is arable and
the rest is rough mountain sand hill grazing. There is a small cave
near the road called Polldidart an Dough. It consists of two parts
or villages - Crossconnell and Bunacrick or Foxtown.
