Placenames Urrismanagh is an irregular shaped townland with a small area touching the sea. It is 1400' above sea level. One sixth of the land is arable and the remainder is rough mountain or coastal grazing and bog. It consists of two parts or villages; Urrismenagh and Rantymargy Urrismanagh / Urras meadhanach - middle Urris
