We are privileged to be called by God to be his prophets; to take his words on our lips and proclaim them to the world. But the gift of prophesy is of no avail without the gift of love; a Christ-like love of the world which is proof even against the world’s rejection of us. Lord, I have heard your teaching on love through St. Paul. Forgive me for the many times I have failed in love. Help me to pick myself up and renew my commitment to love and faithfulness.
