This Sunday's Gospel is one of the most difficult for
people to accept - even though they understand it. In the past people
would say: "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth!" Some people today
say: "Revenge is sweet!" or "Don't get mad get even"! Jesus tells
us to do the exact opposite. He wants us to forgive - just like He
does!. Jesus Himself taught us to say:". and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us!" Father, thank you for showing
your great love for us. May I always appreciate your kindness towards
me and may I always taste and see that you are good to me.
