The Festival of Hope 2001, July 4 - 8 In a time when we are hoping and praying for lasting peace in our community you are invited to the Festival of Hope in Derry from Wednesday - Sunday. Drama Course: There will be a drama course in St. Mary's Hall, Clonmany from Mon. July 9 - Fri. July 13. The course will be divided as follows: 10am.-12pm. 4-8 year olds; 12:30pm.-2:30pm. 8-12 year olds; 3pm.-5pm. 12-16 year olds. Registration will be in the hall on Fri. July 6 from 12 - 2pm. Cloontagh School: Congratulations to the boys from Cloontagh school who for the second time won the All Ireland N.S. Championships played in Navan last Wednesday. It is the third time in four years that they have won this competition and everyone in the area is very proud of them as was displayed in their welcome home reception. Congratulations also to Cloontagh's 11-a-side team as they won the Double by winning the Cup as well as the League. Our extreme thanks and gratitude are expressed by all to Neil Hirrell and Tony Doherty whose dedication to the children of Cloontagh has helped them reach such a high standard of football.

Ballyliffin Village have entered again this year for the Tidy Towns Competition.
