Where your treasure is that's where your heart is. Jesus wants us to realise that material things are important, but they are not the most important thing. The kind of treasure we should be storing up for ourselves is the treasure known as SANCTIFYING GRACE. A grateful heart for what you already have is the best antidote to greed. Consider this. If you have food in the fridge, clothing and shelter, you are richer than 75 per cent of the world. If you have spare money, you are among the top eight per cent of the world's wealthy. If you can worship freely, you are more blessed than three billion people. If you have never known battle, imprisonment, torture, starvation - you are ahead of 500 million. If you can read this, you are more blessed than over two billion people worldwide that cannot read at all.
