Weekly Bulletin
Sunday 24th February 2002 St. Mary's Church, Clonmany. St. Michael's Church, Urris. Oratory, Ballyliffin. Fr. Jack Farrell, P.P., Tel. 76264. Fr. Peter Devlin, C.C., Tel. 76114. Now that we are ten days into the season of Lent, our goal is clarified in today's liturgy. Our natural inclination is to stay where we are, to make a tent and settle comfortably. But God is continually urging us on to a land he will show us. We follow our transfigured Lord in faith, putting our trust in him and bearing his hardships for the sake of the good news he has brought us. What have I to fear? Nothing. Jesus is my Saviour and he is always with me. I believe that he touches me in my moments of fear. May I always ask him to come and help me and be my guiding star on my pilgrim way to heaven.
