Stations of the Cross and Rosary during Lent: in St. Mary's Church on Wed. and Fri. at 7:30pm. and in St. Michael's Church on Tues. and Thurs. at 7:30pm. There will be no Stations of the Cross on Sunday because of St. Patrick's Day.

Month's Mind Masses: 8pm. Mass in St. Mary's Church on Fri. Mar. 22 will be offered for Danny Toland, Magheramore. 10:30am. Mass in St. Michael's Church next Sun. Trócaire Collection will be taken up next weekend Mar. 23 & 24 (Envelope provided in your box). Please be as generous as you can. Questions People Ask: What guarantee do we have that the money collected actually gets out to the people in need? The bishops had this question in mind when they set up Trócaire. Fully audited accounts are available for inspection. Spending on general management administration is kept down to four per cent of total expenditure while five per cent is spent on publicity and fundraising. Trócaire's ideal of sharing with the poor, feeding the hungry and working for justice gives new purpose to self-denial.

Collections: Parish collection last weekend amounted to €1,862. Church Restoration Fund amounted to €1,622. Thank you for your generosity.
Collection for the Education of Students to the Priesthood (envelope supplied in your box) will be taken up this weekend March 16 & 17.

Sympathy: We offer sincere sympathy to the family and friends Dinny Doherty, Crossconnell, and Sueanne Armstrong, Gaddyduff, who died during the week. May they rest in peace.

Pioneer Association: Annual Church Gate Collection will be taken up next weekend March 23 & 24 after all Masses. Please give generously. Promoters are asked to make returns this week for the draw on Friday night as there will be no bingo on Good Friday night. Parochial Bingo in St. Mary's Hall on Friday night at 9pm. All welcome.

Carndonagh Community School: Meeting for parents of children attending C.C.S. in The Strand Hotel on Wed. Mar. 20 at 8:30pm. All Parents and Past Pupils of C.C.S. are asked to support the annual fundraising Social & Dance in the school on Fri. Mar. 22 beginning at 11pm. Hot supper will be served at 12 midnight. Music by the Cavanagh Brothers. Subscription is €8 and tickets are available from the school.

Clonmany Town Renewal - Night at the Races in Briney's Bar on Fri. Apr. 12 at 10pm. Horses now on sale in the local outlets.

Good Luck to our Tug-o-war group who travel to South Africa this weekend to take part in the 600 kilos, 640 kilos and 680 kilos competitions over 4 days. 7 men have been picked from Clonmany and 7 from Rich Hill to take part.
