Gabriel Gordon, formerly of Legahurry, Isle of Doagh, who died recently in Mount Argus, Dublin. 7pm. Vigil Mass in St. Mary's Church next Sat. May 4 will be offered for Vincent Lynch, formerly of Annagh, who died in Galway recently. May they rest in peace. Saints of the week: Baptisms: We welcome into God's family Lauren Marie Collins, Tornabratley. Collections: Parish collection last weekend amounted to €1,997. Church Restoration Fund amounted to €1,861. Thank you for your generosity to both collections. Confirmation: Congratulations to all those who were confirmed recently. We are grateful to our parents, teachers, the choir and all those who helped to make it a memorable day for the Parish. Also many thanks to those who provided refreshments afterwards in the hall. Eucharistic Healing Mission - Fr. Peter Byrne C.Ss.R. (Redemptorist Order) will conduct a Mission in our Parish from May 5 -11. Masses will be celebrated each morning at 7am. and 10am. The evening service will be at 7:30pm. each evening. The Mission is a time of special blessings for every family in the parish. We ask everyone to make a special effort to be present at Morning Mass and Evening Service every day. Two School Caretakers Required: Post A - Rasheney School. Post B - Shared between Clonmany and Tiernasligo Schools. These posts will be based on the Back to Work Scheme and therefore would suit unemployed and those on Community Employment Schemes. St. Mary's Hall, Clonmany: €138 has been paid to refill the fire extinguishers in St. Mary's Hall, which was vandalised recently. National Alzheimer's Tea/Coffee Day - Thurs. May 2. Drop in to St. Mary's Hall on Thursday between 11am and 2:30pm. and enjoy a cuppa while supporting this worthy cause. Annual Church Gate Collection for Polio will be taken up next weekend, May 4 & 5 after all Masses. Please be as generous as you can. Young People's Beginning Experience: a peer support group for young people who have lost a parent through death, divorce or separation are celebrating 10yrs. of Ministry in the Derry area. All who have participated in our programmes or weekends are invited to attend a service followed by a disco/dance/line-dancing and supper in St. Joseph's Hall, Gallaigh next Sat. May 4.
