First Holy Communion Mass: The children of Clonmany and Cloontagh N.S. will make their First Holy Communion in St. Mary's Church on Sat. May 25 at 11am. and the children of Tiernasligo N.S. will make their First Holy Communion in St. Michael's Church on Sun. May 26 at 10:30am. Saints of the week: 1st. Anniversary Masses: 8pm. Mass in St. Michael's Church, Urris on Fri. May 24 will be offered for Aidan Doherty, on the first anniversary of his death. 7pm. Vigil Mass in St. Mary's Church on Sat. May 25 will be offered for Unnie Doherty, Cloontagh, on the first anniversary of her death. May they rest in peace. Collections: Parish collection last weekend amounted to €1,862. Church Restoration Fund amounted to €1,622. General Purpose Collection amounted to €1,021. Thank you for your generosity to all three collections. Baptisms: We welcome into God's family Megan Patricia Hands, Cleagh; Chloe Margaret Gill, Magheramore and Ryan Walker McLaughlin, Annagh. Donations: We acknowledge with gratitude a donation of €120 and a donation of €1,000 towards the Restoration of the Oratory. Parochial Bingo in St. Mary's Hall on Friday night at 9pm. All welcome. St. Martin de Porris School, Cloontagh: Bishop Hegarty will officially reopen and bless the newly refurbished school at 12 o'clock on Fri. May 24. There will be an open afternoon from 2:30pm. - 5:30pm. for anyone wishing to visit the school to see the major improvement which has taken place. Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon and all are welcome. Congratulations to all responsible for the achievement of this important goal. Inishowen 100 Sponsored Walk - May 24, 25 & 26 in aid of the Foyle Hospice. Sponsorship cards in Centra - your sponsorship would be very much appreciated. St. Vincent De Paul Society - Families who may be experiencing financial difficulties for First Holy Communion or any other needs please contact any member of the society or tel. 76421/ 76925. All requests are treated in the strictest confidence. Urris Parents Association: Meeting in the boys School on Mon. May 20 at 7:30pm. Annual Collection for Polio which was taken up recently amounted to €525. The association would like to thank everyone for their generosity. Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of the Church Restoration Fund will take place this year on Sun. June 30 at 3pm. from St. Mary's Hall via Tullagh, Crossconnell and back to St. Mary's Hall.
